In the morning of September 6, the workshop “Human resource development in healthcare in Japan and Vietnam” was co-organized with the collaboration between University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) and Japanese Social Welfare Corporations.

On September 5, the Faculty of Architecture, Hue University of Sciences in coordination with Kyoto Seika University, Japan organized the workshop on Establishing walking streets surrounding the Imperial city.

In the afternoon of August 29, Assoc.Prof. Vo Thanh Tung – Rector of the University of Sciences, Hue University, hosted a reception with Prof.Dr. Tsutsui Kazunobu – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Regional Sciences, Tottori University, Japan.

In the morning of July 7^th, Dr. Phan Tuan Anh – Vice Rector of the University of Sciences, Hue University welcomed and worked with Mr. Dominique Laffly – Attaché for Scientific and University Coopertion of the French Embassy in Vietnam and Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc – Director of French Institute in Hue City.

Also presence was Dr. Tran Phuong An – Deputy Head of Office for Science – Technology and International Relations, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung – Dean together with lecturers of Faculty of Architecture.

On May 16, Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, the Rector of Hue University of Sciences received the visit of professors from Dalhousie University, Canada.

In the morning of April 8, University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) held the online ceremony to award the title of Honorary Professor to Prof. Tsutsui Kazunobu – Faculty of Regional Sciences, Tottori University, Japan and Prof. Kobayashi Hirohide – Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies (GSGES), Kyoto University, Japan.

On March 7, Hue University of Sciences warmly welcomed the delegation of the Embassy of Italy to Vietnam.

On 27 February 2020, Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuyen, Vice Rector of University of Sciences, Hue University had a meeting and working with the delegation led by Mr. Iwamatsu from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Kyoto.

During the period from January 15 to January 19, 2020, receiving the invitation of the President of Yutaka Social Welfare Corporation, Nagoya, Japan, Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuyen, Vice Rector of University of Sciences, Hue University had a visit and worked with company leaders in Japan. Attending the workshop, there were Dr. Huynh Thi Anh Phuong - Dean, Faculty of Social Work, MA. Bui Quang Dung – Vice Dean of Social Work Faculty.     

On February 11, the Rector Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung had the meeting with the representatives of enterprises from Japan in order for students to do the internship and graduation thesis in Japan.

On February 7, University of Sciences, Hue University signed the MOU with Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Thailand in the presence of Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung – Rector and other members of the University of Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Boonmee Kavinseksan – Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology and other delegates of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University.

On January 7, 2020 the Faculty of Architecture signed the MOU with the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Seoul National University.

In the morning of 9 December, Assoc.Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector, University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) had a meeting with the representatives from 7 German Universities leading by Mr. Alexander AU, the Head of Division Internationalization of Higher Education in Germany.

From Nov 26^th to Nov 28^th, 2019, International Symposium on Education and Research in Global Environmental Studies in Asia was organized in Kyoto University, Japan. This was an annual conference hosted by Kyoto University, Japan and funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology – Japan (MEXT) and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

On December 3^rd, University of Sciences, Hue University and KENT liability limited company signed the MOU on training foreign languages for students.
