In the afternoon of 30 October, University of Sciences, Hue University had a meeting with Prof. Christine O’ Conner, Assistant Head of School of Food Science and Environmental Health at Technology University Dublin, Ireland (TU Dublin).

Stem Cell Innovation 2019 is an annual competition organized by Vietnam Stem Cell Institute and Laboratory of Stem Cell Research and Application under Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh city – University of Science.

From October 15 to October 19, 2019, the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), coordinate with Hong Kong University to hold the seminar on Travel Agency to Future Hue: Mediating between Architecture and Tourism.

Code War 2019 is a nationwide programming contest co-organized by Vietnam Students Association and FPT Software company limited. With the theme “Code your life”, the competition attracted the participation of many students nationwide who are interested in programming and technology.

In the morning of 14 October, Assoc.Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector of University of Siences, Hue University (HUSC) had a meeting with delegates from The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

In the afternoon of 11 October, the closing ceremony and prize award of “Green Sunday” writing competition and “Say no to plastic bags and single-use plastics” movement was held at the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee. The competition was launched by Thua Thien Hue Portal and Thua Thien Hue Development Study Institute.

On October 1, the international workshop on “Stakeholder meeting and cooperation possibility for smart sustainable city” was held in Hue City in the framework of the project on Sustainability Alliance of Urban networks in Asian cities (SAUNAC). The project members are 6 Vietnamese universities including the Faculty of Environmental Science of the University of Sciences, Hue University and 5 European universities.

In the afternoon of 20 September, Assoc. Prof Hoang Van Hien, Rector of University of Sciences, Hue University had a meeting with the delegates from NPO – Traditional Japanese Culture Manners Meister Association led by Mr. Amemiya Norio, the President of NPO.

Participants from the University of Sciences, Hue University attended the Kick-off meeting sponsored by Erasmus+ with the theme “Enhancing Digital Capacities in Higher Education for Asian Universities” at the National Technical University of Athens, Greece.

In the morning of 12 September, the Opening Ceremony of Eco-week Campaign 2019, “Responsible Tourism” was organized at University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC).

During the two days of September 9 and 10, the training workshop on Curriculum Design and Pedagogy in Higher Education, was held at the room KH2, University of Sciences, Hue University.

On August 12, the MOU signing ceremony between University of Sciences, Hue University and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMIL) was organized at University of Sciences, Hue University.
