During 4 and 5 November, two theoretical and practical training classes on startup and innovation under the 2019 – 2020 school-year plan of HUSC was organized for 60 students.  

On November 3rd, 12 teams from many universities and senior high schools nationwide participated in the final round of the Competition of Stem Cell Innovation – VI 2019 at the University of Science, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City. The team of Hue University of Sciences including Nguyen Huu Dat, Ho Thi Len and Le Dac Hai (DLH team) achieved the second prize.

The contest “Creative Space 2019 - Mini Library Design: Flexible - Friendly - Mobile” organized by Architect Training Fund (FAT), Department of Civil Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, National University of Civil Engineering in coordination with media partners Kien Viet and AGOhub.

In the afternoon of 30 October, University of Sciences, Hue University had a meeting with Prof. Christine O’ Conner, Assistant Head of School of Food Science and Environmental Health at Technology University Dublin, Ireland (TU Dublin).

On October 31, the Rector of the University of Sciences Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hien had a meeting with the representatives from Teipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam.

Stem Cell Innovation 2019 is an annual competition organized by Vietnam Stem Cell Institute and Laboratory of Stem Cell Research and Application under Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh city – University of Science.

From October 15 to October 19, 2019, the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), coordinate with Hong Kong University to hold the seminar on Travel Agency to Future Hue: Mediating between Architecture and Tourism.

Code War 2019 is a nationwide programming contest co-organized by Vietnam Students Association and FPT Software company limited. With the theme “Code your life”, the competition attracted the participation of many students nationwide who are interested in programming and technology.

In the afternoon of October 23, Assoc.Prof. Hoang Van Hien, Rector, had a meeting and worked with members of Viet Professional Software & Solutions Joint Stock Company (Vietsoftpro) led by Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, General Director of the company.

In the morning of 22 October, the MoU signing ceremony between University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) and General Foundational Juridical Person Japan Reigi-Sahou Association was formally organized at University of Sciences.

In the morning of 14 October, Assoc.Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector of University of Siences, Hue University (HUSC) had a meeting with delegates from The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

In the afternoon of 11 October, the closing ceremony and prize award of “Green Sunday” writing competition and “Say no to plastic bags and single-use plastics” movement was held at the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee. The competition was launched by Thua Thien Hue Portal and Thua Thien Hue Development Study Institute.

On October 1, the international workshop on “Stakeholder meeting and cooperation possibility for smart sustainable city” was held in Hue City in the framework of the project on Sustainability Alliance of Urban networks in Asian cities (SAUNAC). The project members are 6 Vietnamese universities including the Faculty of Environmental Science of the University of Sciences, Hue University and 5 European universities.

In the afternoon of 20 September, Assoc. Prof Hoang Van Hien, Rector of University of Sciences, Hue University had a meeting with the delegates from NPO – Traditional Japanese Culture Manners Meister Association led by Mr. Amemiya Norio, the President of NPO.

Participants from the University of Sciences, Hue University attended the Kick-off meeting sponsored by Erasmus+ with the theme “Enhancing Digital Capacities in Higher Education for Asian Universities” at the National Technical University of Athens, Greece.
