Launching the movement of energy saving for the youth and officials in Hue City
The workshop on NetZero and energy saving was officially organized in Hue City by the combination of the Institute for Research and Development of Thua Thien Hue Province, Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), Germany and Faculty of Environment, University of Sciences, Hue University on 12th October.
The workshop on NetZero and energy saving was officially organized in Hue City by the combination of the Institute for Research and Development of Thua Thien Hue Province, Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), Germany and Faculty of Environment, University of Sciences, Hue University on 12th October.
The workshop aims at disseminating and providing knowledge on emission reduction, NetZero, energy saving and smart energy use for young people and offices in Hue City.
Speaking at the seminar, Prof. Dr. Andreas Stoffers, Director of FNF in Vietnam, confirmed that this workshop focused on energy saving, efficient energy use and green construction. All of these topics are very pertinent for the further development of Hue City.
At the workshop, experts have figured out some solutions and effective communication ways related to environmental protection and plans response to climate change in the future.
In the current context, energy security and sustainable development in the energy industry are always the top concerns of the Government of Vietnam. In order to promote efficient use of energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Resolution No. 55 - NQ/TW on orientations of Vietnam’s national energy development Strategy to 2030 outlook to 2045 was issued by the Politburo on February 11, 2020.
Mr. Ho Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, launched a movement to save energy for the youth and officials in Hue City.
Through this training workshop, with dynamism, enthusiasm and creative communication skills, the youth force of Hue City will actively diversify the type of electricity saving propaganda, which helps Hue city in particular and Thua Thien Hue province in general achieve the goals of efficient and economical use of energy.
