Students from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Sciences, Wins Second Prize at the 2025 Science and Technology Awards
Recently, at the award ceremony for the “2025 Science and Technology Awards for Students at Higher Education Institutions” organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, a student team from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Sciences, Hue University, won Second Prize for an outstanding research project with strong practical applications.
The student group included Nguyen Thi Hong Gam, Nguyen Ha Trang, Dang The Vu with the research project named “Study on the Synthesis of Organic Nano Phosphorus Fertilizer from Animal Bones and Peat in Thua Thien Hue Province”. This research direction focuses on reusing natural by-products to produce environmentally friendly fertilizer materials, contributing to sustainable agriculture and the development of a circular economy in the local area. Throughout the project, the student team received dedicated guidance from Assoc.Prof. Le Thi Hoa, Lecturer of the Faculty of Chemistry. The success of the study reflects the collective effort, creativity, and commitment to scientific research shown by both the instructor and the students.
This achievement is not only a source of pride for the student team and their supervising lecturer but also for the Faculty of Chemistry and the University of Sciences, Hue University. It reaffirms the university’s training quality and the effectiveness of its student research activities.
