Student Research Symposium 2025

On the morning of December 8, 2025, the University of Sciences, Hue University successfully organized the Student Research Symposium 2025.

Attending the Symposium were Dr. Le Van Tuong Lan, Director of the Department of Training and Student Affairs, Hue University; Dr. Bui Quang Vu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector of the University of Sciences, together with members of the Board of Rectors; representatives of faculties and functional departments; 29 students from the University of Economics and Law (UEL), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; and more than 200 students from the University of Sciences.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung emphasized the vital role of scientific research in undergraduate education, while acknowledging the efforts and thorough preparation of student research teams and their academic supervisors.

The 2025 Symposium included 6 plenary presentations, 40 posters, and 28 parallel-session presentations, reflecting a wide range of topics across the natural sciences, engineering & technology, and social sciences and humanities. Many studies have demonstrated high practical applicability, integrating traditional and modern elements to address contemporary issues in scientific research.

Outstanding Oral Presentation Award – Plenary Session

Within the framework of the Symposium, the Organizing Committee also awarded certificates of completion to participating students for the training course “Developing Academic Writing and Scientific Publishing Skills in Interdisciplinary Applied AI Research,” aiming to further enhance their academic knowledge and research competencies for international publication.

Dr. Phan Tuan Anh, Vice Rector, highly appreciated the academic quality of the presentations and the active participation of students from both the University of Sciences and UEL. He hoped that the outcomes of the Symposium would continue to be developed, contributing to scientific and technological advancement and serving the community.

The Symposium concluded in a formal and inspiring atmosphere, marking a year of dynamic, creative, and impactful scientific research activities by students of the University of Sciences.
