Training Workshop on “The application of AI in university teaching” at the University of Sciences, Hue University
On the morning of December 6, 2025, the University of Sciences, Hue University organized a training workshop on “The application of AI in university teaching” for all lecturers. The objectives of the training workshop are to update technological trends and support lecturers in enhancing their capacity to apply artificial intelligence in teaching and learning activities.
The distinguished speakers included Assoc. Prof. Le Hoanh Su – Dean of the Faculty of Information Systems & Head of BA-AILab, University of Economics and Law (UEL), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hanh – Lecturer of the Faculty of Information Systems & Senior Researcher at BA-AILab, UEL, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
In his remarks, Dr. Phan Tuan Anh, Vice Rector of the University of Sciences, emphasized the importance of integrating artificial intelligence into innovative teaching practices. He also acknowledged the lecturers’ proactive efforts in learning and engaging with new technologies. The University leadership expressed sincere appreciation to the experts from UEL, VNU-HCM for their practical and up-to-date contributions.
Within the framework of the training workshop, the speakers provided an overview of AI application trends in education, principles for safe and effective use of AI, modern support tools, and various illustrative examples related to lesson design, image and video creation, syllabus development, and learner assessment.
The training workshop took place in an engaging and collaborative atmosphere, offering valuable knowledge and practical skills that contribute to strengthening the teaching capacity of lecturers and supporting their adaptation to the demands of the digital era.
