Training on “Developing Academic Writing and Scientific Publishing Skills in Interdisciplinary Applied AI Research”
On the morning of December 7, 2025, the University of Sciences – Hue University, in collaboration with the University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, organized the training “Developing Academic Writing and Scientific Publishing Skills in Interdisciplinary Applied AI Research” for students of both universities.
Attending the training, there were Assoc. Prof. Le Hoanh Su, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hanh and Dr. Trinh Quang Viet from the University of Economics and Law; and Dr. Bui Quang Vu, Dr. Nguyen Dang Binh, and Dr. Khong Thi Thu Thao from the University of Sciences, together with faculty members and students.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Bui Quang Vu – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council of the University of Sciences – emphasized the importance of equipping students with interdisciplinary research mindsets, academic writing competencies, international publication capabilities, and the ability to apply artificial intelligence in the context of digital transformation. He also expressed appreciation for the effective cooperation between the two universities and the enthusiastic participation of the students.
This year’s program brings together 29 students from the University of Economics and Law along with outstanding students from the University of Sciences. Throughout the two-day program (December 7–8), participants will receive intensive instruction on topics such as conducting research reviews, developing international publishing skills, applying AI–IoT–AIoT in experimental research, and analyzing data and empirical evidence in the fields of science and economics.
Right after the opening session, lecturers from UEL and HUSC conducted the first training session in an enthusiastic, dynamic, and highly interactive atmosphere.
The training program is scheduled to continue the following day with additional practical modules designed to support students in strengthening their research competencies and engaging with contemporary academic methodologies.
