UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCES, HUE UNIVERSITY


Meeting with professors from the College of Computing, Khon Kaen University (KKU), Thailand.

On the afternoon of August 7, 2024, the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), welcomed and held a working session with professors from the College of Computing, Khon Kaen University, Thailand—one of the premier institutions in northeastern Thailand. 

Attending the meeting, there were Dr. Phan Tuan Anh, Vice Rector of HUSC, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Truong Tho, Head of Office for Science Technology and International Relations, Dr. Hoang Dinh Trung, Deputy Head of Office for Graduate Education, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Ha, Dean - Faculty of Information Technology and lecturers.  

Dr. Phan Tuan Anh, Vice Rector, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Khon Kaen University during their visit and collaborative session with the University.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged valuable insights on research and education in computer science, information technology, and geographic information systems (GIS). The professors from Khon Kaen University provided a brief introduction on their postgraduate programs in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Computer Engineering, as well as the scholarship opportunities offered at the university.

Following the session, both sides agreed to maintain communication and collaborate on proposing joint programs in the future.
