Reception of Yamaha Corporation and Brycen Vietnam limited company, Japan

On August 29, Rector Assoc.Prof. Vo Thanh Tung had a meeting with representatives of Yamaha Corporation and Brycen Vietnam limited company, Japan.

Attending the meeting, there were Mr. WATANABE HIDEKI, Global Business Project Leader, Yamaha Japan; Mr. KOYAMA YUSUKE, Global Business project Manager, Yamaha Japan; Mr. FUKUMA MAKOTO, Supervisor of Brycen Co. Ltd., Japan; Ms. Luong Mai Lin, Solutions Sales Department and Mr. ISHI MANABU, Director of Brycen Vietnam Co. Ltd. From Hue University of Sciences, there were Dr. Tran Thanh Luong, Head of Office for Undergraduate Education and Student affairs and Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An, Deputy Head of Office for Science, Technology and International Relations.

Rector Assoc. Prof.  Vo Thanh Tung warmly welcomed Yamaha Corporation and Brycen Japan for their visit to the university.

For many years, Brycen company and the University of Sciences, Hue University have cooperated in terms of training and recruiting IT human resources. Additionally, Brycen Company has facilitated cooperative opportunities between the university and other companies and organizations,, including the Japanese company Sakura Joho System Group. Brycen Company proposed potential for collaboration between Yamaha Corporation and the university on this occasion.

Yamaha Corporation introduced about its establishment and development, the sale sectors and achievements of the corporation as well as the possibility of cooperation between the university and Yamaha Corporation.

Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung talked about recent enterprise-related training programs that the university has conducted and affirmed that the university constantly reviewed and made adjustments to complete the training programs and prepare for those with appropriate quality assurance to meet the demand of the enterprises. The Rector also hoped to expand the collaboration with domestic and international enterprises to facilitate students in internship, probation, and employment opportunities. Apart from information technology, the university also offers the majors in software engineering, electronics and telecommunication. Until now, the university has the cooperation with more than 20 companies, enterprises and corporations in information technology.

The parties exchanged ideas and proposed the cooperative contents to facilitate students in learning, exchanges, internships, practical work experiences, and job opportunities at the corporation after graduation.
