University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Meros Language School, Japan

The participants included Dr. Phan Tuan Anh, Vice Rector of HUSC; Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An, Deputy Head, Office for Science-Technology and International Relations and Msc. Thai Nhat Truong, Deputy Head, Office for Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs. From Meros Language School, Japan there were: Mr. Yasushi Kagawa, Director of Department of School Affairs, Mr. Kondo Hidemasa, Lecturer, KIS-GE Internship Program, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Leader, KIS-GE Internship Program, Mr. Ota Shimpei, Representative of COE Grande-Etoile Co.,Ltd; Mr. Amano Tomohiro, Representative of COE Sky Field Corporation Co.,Ltd; Mr. Ike Takao, Representative of  COE Zero System Co.,Ltd and Mr. Yokobori Kazunari, Representative of  COE Izanaga Co.,Ltd.

At the event, Dr. Phan Tuan Anh welcomed the delegation of Meros Language School and companies, Japan to visit and sign the initial cooperation agreement with the University. He briefly introduced about the establishment and development of HUSC, its postgraduate and undergraduate degree programs, research and technology transformation programs between HUSC and different domestic and international organizations in the field of education, staff and lecturers exchange, student exchange and research collaboration in order to improve staff’s qualifications and their research capacity. For many past years, University of Sciences has developed in both quantity and quality of training and researches to meet the requirement of national and global development.

Japanese companies introduced about the training programs and development directions. Both sides had the discussion about cooperation opportunities. Next, Dr. Phan Tuan Anh and Mr. Yasushi Kagawa, Director of Department of School Affairs, Meros Language School signed the MOU on Exchange of undergraduate and graduate students; Exchange of faculty members and researchers; Joint research activities and education projects such as DDP and Exchange of scientific materials and information.

Other specific cooperation programs will be agreed through a working session on the afternoon of June 9 and implemented as soon as possible.
