Opening ceremony of the student exchange program between Hue University of Sciences and Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabaht University

On the morning of May 10, the University of Sciences, Hue University held the opening ceremony of the student exchange program between the University of Sciences and Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabaht University, Thailand.

Attending the opening ceremony, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Boonmee Kavinseksan, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology; Dr. Teeraset Siratananont, Committee member of the Faculty of Science and Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Titipat Iamnirun, Committee member of the Faculty of Science and Technology; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Kasame Tritrakan – Vice Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Patiwit Loypimai – Vice Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology with the presence of 05 lectureres from the Faculty of Mathematics, Biology, Agricultural Technology, Food Technology, Occupational Safety and Health and 22 excellent students of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabaht University, Thailand.

The University of Sciences, Hue University has focused on developing international cooperation with many foreign universities and research institutes through the staff and student exchange, and scientific research. A collaboration agreement was renewed between the University of Sciences and Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabaht University in 2020..

The goal of this student exchange program, which runs from May 10 to May 18, is to increase the opportunity for cultural understanding, experience sharing, and exchange between students from the two universities.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Rector Dr. Phan Tuan Anh welcomed all lecturers and students from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabaht University, Thailand to participate in the student exchange program at the University of Sciences. He expressed his hope that the program would be a success and that lecturers and students would enjoy their time here, taking in the rich flavors of Hue cuisine, the culture, the locals, and the serene surroundings. The Vice-rector also hoped that through implementing this program, the relationship of cooperation between the two universities would be strengthened in a variety of areas, including seminar co-organization, collaborative research, and academic exchange.

The student exchange program includes a variety of activities, such as learning Vietnamese, attending a scientific seminar on urban environmental issues in Hue, working with university leaders to discuss educational activities in Vietnam in general and Hue in particular, playing outside games, visiting the Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, Van Thanh - Vo Thanh monuments, visiting Sinh village and learning how to make traditional crafts and Hue cakes.
