Strengthening collaboration and career orientation for students of the Vietnam–Japan Information Technology Engineering Program

On the afternoon of September 22, 2025, the University of Sciences, Hue University, welcomed representatives from Brycen Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Japan Heart organization to discuss initiatives in training, scientific research, and human resource development.

Participating in the meeting were Mr. Ishii Manabu, Director of Brycen Vietnam; Mr. Le Hong Son, Deputy Director; and Mr. Bao Minh, Director of the Vietnam–Japan Exchange Center. From the Japan Heart organization, there were Mr. Yoshioka Hideto, President, and Ms. Sato Sho, Chief of Office. Representing the University of Sciences were Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuyen – Vice Rector, Dr. Tran Thanh Luong – Head of the Office for Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Huynh Thi Anh Phuong – Head of the Office for Science, Technology and International Relations, and MSc. Tran Nguyen Phong – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology.

The meeting highlighted Japan Heart organization’s ongoing initiatives and explored potential directions for cooperation in information technology training, research activities, and student assistance. Both sides exchanged information on training programs, human resource development initiatives, and promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan.

In addition, Mr. Ishii Manabu and Mr. Yoshioka Hideto engaged in a dialogue with first-year students enrolled in the Vietnam–Japan Information Technology Engineering Program. They shared professional insights and provided career orientation, focusing on the demand for IT human resources in Japan, the required skills, and Japanese language proficiency, as well as employment opportunities in Japanese enterprises operating in both Japan and Vietnam.

This event marked a meaningful step toward deepening collaboration among Brycen Vietnam, Japan Heart organization, and the University of Sciences. It also offered students valuable guidance for future career planning, enhanced their understanding of industry expectations, and opened pathways for academic advancement and employment in an international context.
