Students of the University of Sciences, Hue University Achieve Outstanding Results at the Hue-ICT Challenge 2025
On the morning of June 22, 2025, the Organizing Committee of the Hue-ICT Challenge 2025 held the Award Ceremony for the Information Technology Creative Products for high school and university students, along with the Closing Ceremony of the Hue-ICT Challenge 2025, at Hall A1 of the University of Sciences, Hue University.
The Hue-ICT Challenge is a prestigious annual competition co-organized by the University of Sciences, Hue University and the Hue Information technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Association (HueDITA), under the patronage of the Hue City People’s Committee. The competition is supported by Hue Information Technology Center (HueCIT), the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education and Training, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Hue College of Education, and the “Discover Hue” information portal. Since 2024, the contest has expanded to a nationwide scale with professional sponsorship from the Vietnam Association for Information Processing (VAIP).
This year, the IT Creative Products category attracted more than 44 submissions from various provinces across the country, including Lang Son, Cao Bang, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Da Nang, Dak Nong, and Ba Ria–Vung Tau... Among these, twelve of the most outstanding projects were selected for the final round, where participants presented and demonstrated their products - either in person or online - before a panel of experts.
Given the high quality of submissions, the Organizing Committee presented the following awards:
🔹 First Prize:
• AI Assistant Platform - A self-configured, multi-platform AI integration system supporting enterprises in order processing and customer consultation; Author: Thai Thanh Nhat (University of Sciences, Hue University)
🔹 Second Prize:
• Online Learning Support System - Student team: Le Van Tien, Nguyen Dac Trinh Tin, Ngo Tan, Nguyen Dinh Tien (University of Sciences, Hue University)
🔹 Third Prize:
• Athlete Image Search System for Marathon Events; Author: Hoang Hao (University of Sciences, Hue University)
• Early Prediction and Warning System for Landslides; Student team: Le Anh Tu, Le Duc Chinh (Le Quy Don Specialized High School – Da Nang)
🔹 Consolation Prizes:
• OCCS Algorithm Training and Competition System; Student team: Nguyen Dinh Nhat, Mai Nu Duong Thanh, Ha Duc Hoan (University of Sciences, Hue University)
• Quang Binh Tourism Zalo Mini App; Author: Nguyen Hoang Anh (Quang Binh University)
• AI-powered Online Language Learning System; Author: Pham Van Nhan (University of Sciences, Hue University)
• Deepfake Face Detection Solution; Author: Duong Van Thanh (University of Sciences, Hue University)
The total prize value for the IT Creative Products category amounted to 25 million VND.
Earlier, on March 23, 2025, the Programming category for high school students attracted more than 2,000 participants from 537 schools across 54 provinces and cities nationwide, with a total of 326 prizes awarded.
