Strengthening Academic Cooperation and Cultural Exchange between the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) and Tyumen State University, Russia.

Attending the meeting on behalf of the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) were Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Huynh Thi Anh Phuong, Head of the Office for Science, Technology and International Affairs; Dr. Tran Thanh Luong, Head of the Office for Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs; and Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An, Deputy Head of the Office for Science, Technology and International Affairs.

From Tyumen State University, participants included Prof. Andrei Tolstikov, Vice Rector and Head of the Institute of Biology, Environment and Agriculture; and Prof. Ekaterina Sechenova, Vice Rector in charge of International Cooperation. The representative of the Consulate General of Vietnam in the Russian Federation highly appreciated the efforts of both universities in fostering academic connection, knowledge exchange, and mutual understanding.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the potential for cooperation in various fields, including joint training and educational programs, student and faculty exchange, and collaborative research projects on climate change, food safety, quantum science, cultural exchange, and language learning – all of which aim to enhance academic opportunities for students of both universities.

In addition, the two institutions expressed their intention to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future to establish a solid foundation for further and more concrete collaborative activities.

The meeting concluded in a friendly, open, and promising atmosphere, paving the way for new opportunities toward long-term and sustainable cooperation between the University of Sciences, Hue University, and Tyumen State University, with the continued support and active facilitation of the Consulate General of Vietnam in the Russian Federation.
