On 24 June 2026, the University of Sciences, Hue University, held the Grassroots Round of the 9th Hue University Innovative Startup Ideas Competition 2026. The program aims to select potential startup ideas and projects to advance to the next rounds of the Hue University-level competition.

A total of 09 projects took part in the Grassroots Round, submitted by students from the University of Sciences and pupils from HUSC High School for Gifted students, covering a wide range of fields such as technology, education, digital transformation, development of local products, and community support.

At the event, the teams presented their ideas, models, and project solutions directly to the panel of judges, while clarifying issues related to novelty, creativity, practical applicability, social impact, and future development potential. With a spirit of seriousness, objectivity, and responsibility, the panel of judges raised many critical questions, provided professional feedback, and offered practical comments to help the teams refine their projects, improve product quality, and orient future development.

After the evaluation process, the Organizing Committee selected 05 outstanding projects to advance to the Semi-final Round of the 9th Hue University Innovative Startup Ideas Competition 2026, including:

The Grassroots Round recorded many creative ideas and highly applicable solutions with the potential to develop into products and services serving the community. The competition is not only a valuable academic playground for pupils and students but also helps spread the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation throughout Hue University, creating a connecting environment to support promising ideas as they gradually develop into projects of practical value, contributing to socio-economic development.
