On the morning of 14 May 2026, the University of Sciences, Hue University, held 2026 Science and Technology Conference at Hall A1, with the participation of Hue University's leadership, representatives of the Hue City Department of Science and Technology, the University's leadership, and a large number of officials, lecturers, and scientists.

Attendees included Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong – Deputy Director of the Hue City Department of Science and Technology; Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Giang – Head of the Department of Science, Technology and International Relations, Hue University. On behalf of the University of Sciences, Hue University were Dr. Bui Quang Vu – Secretary of the Party Committee; Assoc. Prof.  Vo Thanh Tung – Rector; and Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuyen and Dr. Phan Tuan Anh – Vice Rectors of the University.

The conference was organized to summarize and evaluate the outstanding results of scientific, technological, and international cooperation activities during the 2021–2025 period, and to honor and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in science and technology activities.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung – Rector of the University of Sciences, emphasized the role of science, technology, and international cooperation in the University's development strategy, especially in the context of digital transformation, innovation, and increasingly deep international integration.

Within the program, the conference presented a summary report on science, technology, and international cooperation activities during 2021–2025, recording many outstanding results in scientific research, international publications, implementation of research projects at various levels, academic cooperation, and business engagement.
