On April 28, 2026, the University of Sciences, Hue University, held an online meeting with Marche Polytechnic University, Italy, to discuss potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions.

Attending the meeting, there were Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector; Dr. Phan Tuan Anh, Vice Rector; Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An, Vice Head of the Office for Science Technology, International Relations and Library Services; representatives of the leadership of the Faculties of Environmental Science, Architecture, History, and Information Technology; and Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hien, Coordinator of the Ministry-level Science and Technology Project under the Protocol Program.

Representing Marche Polytechnic University were Prof. Enrico Quagliarini, Rector, together with professors Eva S. Malinverni, Fausto Pugnaloni, Giulio Petti, and Antonello Alici, and Mr. Marco Abbiati, representative of the Embassy of Italy in Vietnam.

During the meeting, representatives from both universities introduced their respective strengths in education and scientific research. They also shared the results of the research project entitled “The research of orientated solutions to preserve national cultural heritage associated with tourism development in Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces on the basic of information technology application”. Both institutions thereby discussed and explored specific potential areas for future cooperation.

In particular, both institutions agreed to continue collaborating on the implementation of new research programs and projects, strengthen exchanges of faculty members and students, and jointly organize academic activities in the coming period.

The meeting took place in an open and constructive atmosphere, contributing to the further development of a sustainable and effective cooperative relationship between the two universities.
