University of Sciences, Hue University Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Graduate University of Science and Technology

On the morning of January 7, at the Graduate University of Science and Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) held a working session, engaged in discussions, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GUST.

Attending the event, on behalf of GUST was Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Lam, President of the University. Representing HUSC were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuyen, Vice Rector, together with leaders, academic staff, and lecturers from both institutions.

During the meeting, the leadership of the two universities presented overviews of their respective functions, missions, and strengths in education and scientific research. The two sides exchanged views and reached consensus on key areas of cooperation for the coming period. Priority areas include sharing scientific and technological resources from GUST; coordinating the effective use of academic and research staff; implementing scientific research projects at various levels; and jointly publishing research outcomes.

Under the signed MoU, the University of Sciences, Hue University and the Graduate University of Science and Technology will strengthen collaboration in postgraduate training, scientific research, and technology transfer. The partnership is expected to leverage the strengths of both institutions, enhance training quality, and contribute to the development of high-quality human resources in science and technology in the years ahead.
