HUSC Delegation Visits and Engages in Working Session with University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM

On the morning of January 12, 2026, a delegation from the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) paid an official visit and engaged in a working session with the University of Economics and Law (UEL), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).

The HUSC delegation comprised Assoc.Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector; Dr. Bui Quang Vu, Secretary of the Party Committee; Assoc.Prof. Huynh Thi Anh Phuong, Head of the Office of Science, Technology, International Relations and Library; Dr. Tran Thanh Luong, Head of the Office Education and Student Affairs; and M.A. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Head of the Office of Financial Planning and Facilities.

From University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM there were Assoc.Prof. Hoang Cong Gia Khanh, Rector, along with leaders of the University’s faculties and functional offices.

During the meeting, both institutions presented overviews of their development trajectories and exchanged information on training orientations, scientific research activities, digital transformation initiatives, and respective strengths. The discussions laid an important foundation for identifying potential areas of cooperation in the coming period.

Building on this exchange, the two universities outlined key cooperation priorities, including sharing experience in the implementation of online learning management systems (LMS/Moodle); jointly developing and co-authoring textbooks and instructional materials; collaborating in library services, learning resource sharing, and digital library development; promoting faculty and student exchanges; coordinating in the development and implementation of scientific research projects at various levels, particularly those funded by the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED); and strengthening technology transfer activities.

The meeting was held in an open, candid, and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the strong interest and commitment of the leadership of both universities to fostering long-term and effective cooperation, thereby contributing to the enhancement of training quality, scientific research, and digital transformation in higher education.
