Hue University of Sciences welcomed Prof. Aoki Shinichi from Sojo University, Japan

On May 2nd, Hue University of Sciences had the meeting with Prof. Aoki Shinichi from Sojo University, Japan.

Attending the meeting, there were Assoc. Prof. Ha Van Hanh – Vice Rector, representatives of the Offices for Graduate Education, Undergraduate Education, Faculties of Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunications.

 

 

Assoc. Prof. Ha Van Hanh delivered the welcome speech and hoped that Prof. Aoki Shinichi would be the bridge to connect the collaboration of two universities.

Prof. Aoki Shinichi introduced the visiting professor/visiting researcher of Sojo University. Sojo University would invite outstanding young foreign researchers from partner universities mainly in the Asian region, with the aim of revitalizing exchanges with overseas partner universities. Applicants will be expected to stay in Japan for a period that shall be between 1 month and 1 year. The recruitment often occurs in April and October annually. Sojo University will cover travel expenses (airline ticket; actual expenses equivalent to international flight, economy class and domestic travel) and accommodation according to Sojo International House Regulations for selected researcher. In addition, Prof. Aoki Shinichi also introduced Sakura Science Exchange Program sponsored by Japanese Government. He expected that the staff of Hue University of Sciences who are interested in research are able to apply for these programs.

Both sides continue to keep in touch to early promote the cooperative activities.
