Student Exchange Program between University of Sciences, Hue University and Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (NNRU), Thailand

On the morning of August 22, University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) organized the opening ceremony of the student exchange program between HUSC and Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, Thailand.

Attending the opening ceremony from HUSC were: Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An, Deputy Head of the Office for Science Technology and International Relations; MSc. Thai Nhat Truong, Deputy Head of the Office for Undergraduate  Education and Student Affairs; MSc. Nguyen Phong Canh, Secretary of the University Youth Union, along with several lecturers from the History Faculty and volunteer students.

From Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, there were Ms. Wanwisa Srisomboon, in charge of the International Exchange Program (NRRU), Ms. Supaluk Khaklang, and several staff members from the International Cooperation Office (NRRU), along with 20 students majoring in culture and foreign languages. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An, Deputy Head of the Office for Science Technology and International Relations welcomed all the staff and students from NRRU participating in the exchange program at HUSC. She expressed her hope for the success of the program and wished all colleagues and students from would have an exciting time in Hue. Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An emphasized that the program would create a strong foundation for further cooperation between the two universities in various fields.

The meeting took place in a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. Representatives from both universities engaged in discussions aimed at achieving the best possible outcomes for the exchange program. Students from the two universities also had the opportunity to get acquainted and introduce themselves to each other.

The exchange program will take place from August 22 to August 26, 2023, featuring different engaging cultural and language exchange activities.

During the exchange program, Thai students have the opportunity to visit famous landmarks in Hue, such as Vong Canh Hill, Linh Mu Pagoda, the Imperial City, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. In addition, they also have chance to experience Hue vegetarian cuisine and engage in cultural exchanges, and enjoy art performances as well.

At the closing ceremony, students from Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University and Hue University of Sciences expressed their fondness and desire to continue such activities in the future.
