On the afternoon of August 7, 2024, the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), welcomed and held a working session with professors from the College of Computing, Khon Kaen University, Thailand—one of the premier institutions in northeastern Thailand. 

On July 22, 2024, a delegation of scientists from the University of Tokyo and experts from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan led by Prof. Dr. Kensuke Fukushi, Director of the Institute for Future Initiatives at the University of Tokyo and Vice President of the Vietnam-Japan University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi visited the Faculty of Environmental Science, University of Sciences. Hue University. There were also Assoc. Prof. Hiroyuki Kato from the Department of Urban Engineering, University of Tokyo, and some researchers and students of the department; Mr. Norihide Tamoto, JICA expert at the Ministry of Construction; and Mr. Kojima Suzuki, Director of Enzyme Company, Japan.

On July 3, 2024, the Faculty of Environmental Science worked with an expert delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on the occasion of the delegation\'s working trip to Thua Thien Hue province within the framework of the Technical Assistance Project for the province on climate change and green growth funded by ADB. Dr. Deborah Cornland, ADB Climate Change Policy and Strategy Expert and Head of the Technical Assistance Team, led the delegation with domestic experts and staff. Dr. Le Cong Tuan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty, and faculty members with relevant experience received and worked with the delegation.

On June 6, Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuyen, Vice Rector of University of Sciences, Hue University had a meeting and working with the delegations of Flint Co., Ltd., Japan.

On the evening of April 24, the closing ceremony of the 14th National Architecture Student Festival - HUSC 2024 marked the end of four days of vibrant and captivating events.

On May 16, the Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuyen had a meeting with the delegation of Bridgestone Software Co., Ltd., Japan.

From May 3 to May 5, at Hall A1 of the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), a training course for lecturers from the Central and Central Highlands region titled “Modern Statistics with the R” was co-organized by the University of Sciences and the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics.

The student exchange program between Hue University of Sciences and Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabaht University happened from April 21 to April 27, 2024 in the framework of the agreement between two universities.

On the afternoon of April 24, the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), held a meeting and signed a cooperation agreement with Orient Human Design Inc. (Japan) to implement an internship program, enabling students to participate in paid internships aligned with their fields of study in Japan.

The delegation from Bansondejchaopraya Rajabhat University consisting of 12 faculty lecturers and 21 students participated in the student exchange program and the 14th National Architecture Student Festival - HUSC 2024 hosted by the University of Sciences from April 21 to April 27, 2024 in accordance with the Agreement between the University of Sciences and Bansondejchaopraya Rajabhat University.

Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector of the University of Sciences, Hue University was invited by Canvas Gate Company to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Canvas Gate International Education and Human Resources Development Center in Japan from April 3, 2024, to April 7, 2024.

To kick off the Hue-ICT Challenge 2024, the Final Round of the High School Programming Competition was officially launched on the morning of March 31 at the University of Sciences, Hue University (77 Nguyen Hue, Phu Nhuan Ward, Hue City).

Within the framework of the annual study tour and cultural exchange program, the Japanese student delegation from the Faculty of Global and Intercultural Studies, Ferris University had a visit and worked with the Faculty of Environmental Science, University of Sciences, Hue University.

On March 30, 2024, the Graduate School of Environmental, Life, Natural Science and Technology of Okayama University, Japan (referred to as OU-ELST), and the University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF) and the University of Sciences (HUSC), Hue University signed the agreement to promote the international master’s program.

On March 2^nd , the University of Sciences, Hue University, collaborated with FPT Software Central Co., Ltd. (FPT Software Central) to co-organize the opening ceremony for the Information Technology Engineer training program specializing in Bridge Software Engineering - Korean BrSE.
