On January 17th, a working session took place at the University of Sciences, Hue University between the delegation from the Department of Science and Technology of Ha Tinh province with the purpose of exchanging views and reaching consensus on cooperative contents relating to training, the attraction of high-quality human resources, and scientific and technological development.

Attending the meeting, from the Department of Science and Technology of Ha Tinh province were Mr. Le Thanh Dong – Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department (Head of the delegation); Mr. Dang Van Duc – Head of the Digital Transformation Department and Mr. Le Van Dung – Head of the Science Management Department.

From the University of Sciences were Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung – Rector; along with representatives from the leadership of the Faculties: Information Technology; Electrical, Electronics and Materials Technology; Mathematics; and representatives from the functional departments: Science and Technology, International Cooperation and Library; Education and Student Affairs; Financial Planning and Facilities.

One of the key focuses of the meeting was establishing a network for training and employing high-quality labor. Accordingly, the two institutions will collaborate to develop internship and practical experience programs in Ha Tinh for students in Information Technology and Semiconductor Technology. This is considered a breakthrough solution to build local human resources, supporting Ha Tinh in realizing its digital transformation and high-tech industry goals through the recruitment of well-trained personnel from the University.

In addition, the leaders of both institutions also agreed to build a cooperation mechanism in science and technology to meet the practical needs of both sides. The content focuses on applied research, technology transfer, and the formulation of policies supporting the development of an innovation ecosystem, as well as addressing practical technical challenges at the local level.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung expressed his appreciation for the attention shown by the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology of Ha Tinh province. The university is committed to closely supplying human resources with solid professional expertise, while simultaneously promoting scientific research activities in fulfillment of the shared expectations for sustainable development of both institutions.

The meeting concluded in an atmosphere of trust, opening numerous prospects for practical cooperation in the future and contributing to strengthening the connection between the University's training activities and the actual development needs of the locality.
