Hosting the reception with the delegates of French Consulate General at the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC).

In the afternoon of July 6th, the delegates of French Consulate General consisting of Mr.Jean-Philippe Rousse – Attaché of Cooperation and Cultural Activities; Mr. Romuald Prouteau – Director of National Training, French Institute in Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc – Director of French Institute in Hue, paid a working visit to HUSC.

Other attendees were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh – Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Nguyen Truong Tho – Head of Office for Science – Technology & International Relations, and Dr. Le Dang Bao Chau – Vice Dean of Faculty of Sociology.

Representatives of HUSC had a meeting with the delegates of French Consulate General.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh introduced the University of Sciences, Hue University, its strength including basic research, natural sciences, and social sciences.

Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Jean-Philippe Rousse - Attaché of Cooperation and Cultural Activities pointed out the purpose of working visit in order to exchange the cooperative opportunities among HUSC and French Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City as well as French Embassy in Vietnam, focusing on the fields of joint training, promotion of French culture, and support of students who have studied in France.

Through the discussion, both sides expressed the desire to cooperate in the near future, especially in the field of social science such as literature, history, architecture, sociology, and social work.
