On the 1st November, Assoc.Prof. Ha Van Hanh, Vice-Rector of University of Sciences (HUSC), Hue University, had the meeting with Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thi Van Oanh, representative of Paris Saclay University, France.
Attending the meeting, there were Dr. Nguyen Truong Tho, Head of the Office for Science Technology and International Relations as well as other members of various Faculties, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics and Telecommunications, Information Technology, Biology and Environmental Science.

Paris Saclay University is one of the most prestigious ones in the field of training, research and innovation in Europe. The university has 19 institutions (universities, research centers, engineering and business schools). The university offers a wide range of courses, from bachelor's degree to doctorate, recognized at an international level, within the fields of natural, human and social sciences. There are currently 9,000 master students, 5,500 postgraduate students and a lot of engineers and undergraduates; totally about 65,000 students at all institutions of Paris Saclay. Some courses are taught in French, English or others taught in both French and English. In order to strengthen the international diversity of the Master's degree programmes, Paris-Saclay is offering 160 scholarships for international students that demonstrate academic excellence in which each grant of up to €10,000 per year. Students applying for the Paris-Saclay scholarship will be selected based on strict criteria. In addition, the University also offers 100 scholarships for overseas study each year.

At the meeting, the two universities introduced details about each sides including training programs, the fields of international cooperation, issues related to science and technology that both have concerned. Particularly, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thi Van Oanh also had a presentation on the Master's program of Paris-Saclay University in Physics, Chemistry and Master's programs in Environment, Nanotechnology and Nano-medicine as well. On this occasion, Paris Sacley University proposed the program of student exchange, scholars exchange and training cooperation... After this meeting, the two universities will continue to contact through email to discuss further and implement the cooperation plan in the near future.
