Hue University of Sciences welcomed and worked with Madame. Pauline Eizema – Deputy Ambassador of the Netherlands Embassy and Prof. Marjolein Zweekhorst from Athena Institute, Free University (VU) Amsterdam, the Netherlands
National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan interviewed to recruit students for master and PhD programs.
In the framework of cooperation with NCKU, on November 24, the delegation of NCKU interviewed the undergraduate students and master students of HUSC for master and PhD programs at NCKU in the fields of physics and chemistry.
Attending the interview, NCKU’s delegates included Prof. Shu-Hui Chen – Dean of the College of Sciences under NCKU, Prof. Chia-Chu Chen, Assoc. Prof. Meng-Jung Chiang, Assoc. Prof. Shyh-Yu Shaw and Assoc. Prof. Nishimura Yasutaro. The representatives of HUSC were Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung – Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Truong Tho – Head of the Office for Science – Technology & International Relations, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ai Nhung – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Dr. Ngo Khoa Quang – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physics.
At the meeting, the professors introduced detailed information about the master and PhD scholarships at NCKU. Participating in the recruitment, there were 16 applicants, of which 02 master students from Chemistry Faculty and 14 final-year students from the faculties of Physics and Chemistry, HUSC.
This was the 4th interview of graduate scholarships for HUSC’s students. The final result will be officially announced to HUSC and students in the coming time.
On this occasion, the professors also had the seminars at the Faculties of Chemistry and Physics with the theme on “The Recent Nobel Prizes in Chemistry” and “Introduction to Plasma Physics”.
